    Blazepaw, Scorchpaw, and Rainpaw padded into the den. Blazepaw had his tail draped over Scorchpaw's shoulders, guiding him along.
    Scorchpaw padded tentatively, then tripped on a rock. He hissed, "I hate being blind."
    "Calm down, Scorch. We're almost there." mewed Rainpaw soothingly, taking him to their nests.
    Scorchpaw laid down and dropped his head to his black front paws.
    Blazepaw sat next to his brother. "Should we go hunting?" He touched Scorchpaw's shoulder with the tip of his tail. "You too."
    Scorchpaw shrugged, his tail twitching.
    Rainpaw shrugged also. "Let's go."
    The three got up, leading Scorchpaw, and padded out.

    Velvetpaw gets up early and grooms herself, thinking the day through in her head. Evespark was meant to show her how to track today, but she wondered if her mentor had forgotten. Finally, Evespark stalks into the den and twitches her whiskersin amusement. "You look like you spent all night grooming yourself." She signals with her tail for Velvetpaw to follow, and leavesthe den. They tracked all day, and Velvetpaw returned with her jaws full of prey, satisfied.
