    Ok, Ok. I'll tell all the kits who want to hear.

    I heard this story when I was a kit like all of you from a elder named Birchfall. This all happened when Birchfall was a new born kit. In this story Squirrelflight is still a apprentice so her name is Squirrelpaw.

    Ferncloud, Birchfall's mother had just had Birchfall and his littermates. So Dustpelt, Ferncloud's mate wanted to stay in the Nursery to help look after the kits until their eyes opened. Dustpelt was also Squirrelpaw's mentor. One day Brambleclaw was out on patrol with Thornclaw and Ashfur when he heard some scuffling in the bushes. Brambleclaw thought it was Squirrelpaw and he told her to come out of hiding. Squirrelpaw said that the reason she followed the patrol was because she hadn't been on a patrol for days and she really wanted to. Thornclaw asked her if Dustpelt knew and she said no but Thornclaw let her come anyway. When they got back to camp Dustpelt was furious with Squirrelpaw because she went on patrol with out permission. Her punishment was to care for the elders for the rest of the day and she couldn't go to the gathering that night. So that is a story of how much trouble Squirrelflight could be sometimes.

    The gray tabby she-cat with blue eyes will be Newkit[warrior name Newpath]

    The brown and white tabby tom will be Adderkit.

    The black fluffy tabby tom will be Duskkit.

    And last is the orage tabbye she-cat.She will be Poppykit.

When at Ferndapple's nest, he tripped over Specklekit. "Oof!! I'm sorry..." He paused to sniff the air. "... Specklekit. You're who I tripped on." He smelled the air for Ferndapple. He turned to her. "Sorry."

    REOWW!!! *yowls loudly at pains in her stomach.* the kits are coming! REOWW!!!! GET THE MEDICINE CAT!! *suddenly a contraction grips her sides and she gasps for air. A white kits slides out onto the soft mossy nest.* It's a she-cat. *Picks up the white kit by her scruff and set her close to her stomach and begins to lick. Another contraction stopped her mid-lick and she yowls in pain as a gray tom with black stripes and a white chest slides out into the nest. Another contraction sends the last of the kits, a pale gray tom, into the nest. Whitemist licks her kits vigorously.* they're perfect! A she-kit and two toms. The white one will be called Brightkit, the striped tom will be called Adderkit and the pale gray tom will be called Willowkit. *The kits begin to nurse hungrily.*

    Evespark comes in to see the kits. "Congradulations Whitemist! They are lovely! Do they have names yet?"
    She watches the small kits. She was never around kits, and they looked so small and helpless. Evespark thought, curious, 'I wonder what it would be like to have my own kits?'
    Then she pads softly out of the den, deep in thought.
